Manor of Groves Wedding Photography
I really enjoy being a Wedding photographer at Manor of Groves. Located just outside of London, in the countryside of Hertfordshire. A venue surrounded by lots of greenery and flooded with lots of natural light. Vanesha & Sawan chose a wonderful venue for their Civil Wedding & Reception.
After photographing their Indian Wedding (click here to view) which took place a week before, I knew the Civil Wedding & Reception was only going to be even more fun to photograph.
I started the day photographing some portraits with Vanesha and my colleague did the same with Sawan. This was followed by some group photos with their immediate family, bridesmaids, and groomsmen. This was something they requested, so it was lovely to have lots of time to fulfil this. After saying “I Do” to each other, we took some portraits in the wonderful oriental style garden, which provided a perfect backdrop with plenty of options.
My favourite moment of the evening was the surprise flash mob planned by Sawan’s Family. It was incredible to see so many people get involved including Sawans sister who was pregnant and Sawan’s Mum & Dad who absolutely smashed the performance.
I’m a sucker for a good sunset. Whilst the guests were eating, I peeked out the window to see the sky glowing orange and the sun setting behind the beautiful gardens. Vaneesha & Sawan leapt at the opportunity to have a few sunset couple portraits. I am so glad we made the most of this opportunity, as the results turned out to be incredible. I would go as far as saying, it’s my favourite set of sunset couple photos.
It was a pleasure to work alongside Bick and his team from Diamond Cut DJs once again. They had the dancefloor full from the moment the first dance finished to the end of the night. From the picture below you will see how epic the party was. It’s incredible to witness how much fun the guests were having throughout the day and even more, fun watching these moments unfold. But the best thing was being able to document these moments that they will forever be able to remember with these photographs. Not just remind them what happened and how everyone looked but reminding them how they felt. This is what inspires me to work harder to improve my craft and my skill as a Wedding photographer.
Thank you to Amanda my amazing assistant on the day.
